Donate my boat for a good cause

I own 1 yacht and 2 smaller boats as it was a part of my inheritance from my rich but single uncle who passed away 2 years ago. His boats have passed on to me and our the sad part about that is that we live so far from the sea or anything that we only get to use the boats during vacations or such. We decided to retain the yacht but sell the other 2 boats but my wife and I decided to donate my boat as we remembered my uncle was a charity person who loved helping others so I think it was a good legacy for him to have one of his boats go to these charity for better purposes.. We decided to look for a good boat donation charity site and ended up in boatangel.org, a good boat donations site which catered to what we wanted to happen to our boat. And now, it is finally donated to them and I hope to see my boat sailing the seas again and help others at the same time.

One thing I have heard about and is quite amazing is that a program called donate a car can actually help make a big difference. It is amazing that this organization can actually make such good use of car donations, whether working or not, as they convert it into something of value and that can actually help out more people in the world. In a way, donate my car is also the thing I choose to do as my car is already old at 10 years and I think it would be of much better use for this charity and I would be even happier if this was to go to use for needy children like those in Africa. It may sound cheesy but I do think this is a better purpose than having to sell this car for junk price.
