I guess I have to much more realistic in that I really need to have a memory upgrade. You see for me as long as something works, it is not qualified to be changed or upgraded but I guess that is a different case for my laptop of 2 years now because even though it works quite fine, I do notice it hangs up quite from time to time and I bothers me that I cannot work continuously with that disturbance. My friend recommended for me to buy a Dell memory of at least 1 GB since it is an old model already but when I checked out my computer RAM, it turned out to be a generic memory so I guess I could always buy something not generic. Though I know it is always best to purchase original brand memory modules to be sure of compatibility for memory upgrade, I don’t always go for it since I also have experiences of other brands and even generic ones which works nicely with the branded computers I have at home. I guess the only problems I have is when I am now in need of the original ones for clients, they become hard to find like the Mac memory which seems to have been hoarded or something that most stores I inquire will have no stock of it. The most enjoyable gift that I received on my birthday from my friends was a real cool looking Mac notebook with all the necessary applications and hardwares needed for work and play.
